be crazyy...

thank you sweet baby jesus…

…it’s the weekend. FINALLY! This week has been hell; between a chemistry exam, chemistry homework, worrying about my grade in chemistry, writing papers, researching about immigration in the early 1900s, staying up until 7am and getting nooooo sleep…..I’ll say it again, I’m glad it’s the weekend.
There were a few things, however, that put a smile on my face for a few moments throughout the week:
1) nice boys made delicious brownies, which I proceeded to eat with ice cream :)
2) my roomies and my neighbors across the hall are the best people in the world
3) my family sent me chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine’s day…..

and that’s another thing.

I’ll just say for the record that I’m not the biggest fan of this day that once every year people are extremely lovey-dovey and they buy chocolate and then top off the present with a Hallmark card…I used to not really mind this excessive holiday, but recently it’s been getting on my nerves..
If you are, however, one of those people who do enjoy Valentine’s day, then by all means I hope you have a fantastic day (not joking here). Everyone deserves to be happy.

Wayyy too much homework…and other college-like things.

It’s 1:30am…Eastern Time.
I have a class at 8am. I need to be up by 7am.

…maybe sleeping now would be a good decision…

college

so yesterday was my first day at gvsu. i had such a great day. i moved into my apartment in the honors college (which btw is SO neat!), had lunch with my roommates and family, then the craziness began…..my roommates and i decided that we were going to take a bus ride to Mejier, which is about a 15 minute trip. we’re on the bus and all of a sudden the bus passes our stop; i was like hey what the heck? the bus didn’t even announce that the stop was coming up. so we ended up getting off at the next stop which was about a block or two away. the bus driver felt sorry for us i guess because he said for us to be back at the bus stop at 7:18 so that he could pick us up and take us back, because he was the last bus of the night. we didn’t catch the bus…….and ending up sprinting after the bus to try and catch it… no luck…so we decide that we’re gonna walk back, groceries and all.
journey back to gvsu?…EIGHT MILES!!! i thought i was gonna die….
but thank god for a professor @ gvsu who saw us trying to catch a ride back. WE HITCH-HIKED !! and he was very nice…but thank god i’m not taking math, or else i’d run into him again lol.
college so far is pretty cool.
